Aging Infrastructure
Triad Middle School opened in 1959 (65 years ago) as Triad High School. The aging infrastructure does not hold up to today’s educational standards and student needs.
The 945 students at TMS are forced to navigate cramped hallways during passing periods, which could pose a safety risk in the event of an emergency requiring a quick evacuation.
Additionally, the cafeteria is too small to accommodate students in fewer than five lunch periods, which begin as early as 10:20 a.m. and end at 1:30 p.m.
Come learn more about the challenges at TMS and the other schools in our district at one of our Community Engagement Events:
🏫Oct. 22 – Marine Elementary
🏫Oct. 23 – Triad High School
🏫Oct. 24 – Triad Middle School
Timing of events each night:
6 p.m. – Check-in
6:15 p.m. – Building Tour
7-8 p.m. – Presentation & Feedback
