Over spring break, Triad's debate team went to JV/Novice State (IDC) at Palatine High School. Katie Barker took home a quarterfinalist award and was 10th in JV LD speaking. Mitch Wilson took 9th in Novice LD.
Triad even adopted a Knight for the weekend (pictured with Katie). Brock Murphy of Gibault High School made it to the Semi-Finals. THS has scrimmaged and helped Gibault through the year as they are a new team. The Triad debate team adopted him this past weekend and they all hung out together. Southern debate is a family!

Triad Career Day
Thanks to the Madison County ROE for the successful Career Day. We enjoyed the messages shared by our fab four Triad alumni, Brian Boeshans, Shane McBride, Jill Powers, and Kelly Tracy. Thank you to the over 50 presenters that shared their occupations with us.
Enjoy some well deserved time off! No school next week for Spring Break. We’ll see everyone for the start of the 4th quarter on March 20th. Be safe!
