Coming to Your Neighborhood - Triad Together On Oct. 5 and Oct. 19 members of the Triad Together team will be in our neighborhoods inviting our communities to attend one of our Community Engagement Events! We are excited to invite you to learn more and provide input on current challenges the district faces regarding facility maintenance and repair, the safety and security of students, and adequately accommodating students’ academic and co-curricular needs. Help us plan for the future of our schools! Triad Together is a team of parents, community members, and school staff, and we’re seeking your input on current challenges the district faces regarding facility maintenance and repair, the safety and security of students, and adequately accommodating students’ academic and co-curricular needs. Join us at one of our Community Engagement Events where we’ll start the evening with a building tour. Then, you’ll hear from district leadership and members of the Triad Together team, followed by a video showcasing our schools’ critical needs across the district. At the end of the presentation, you help provide input on possible solutions for the district. Environmental Science students dissected flowers today. Waterman’s Floral in Troy donated the flowers. The students also used microscopes to study the structures of roots, stems, and leaves. #handsonlearning

We wore yellow today to show our support for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We want to give a special shout-out and get well wishes to THS senior Logan Kowalski, who continues to fight his battle. We're here for you, Logan. 💛

Triad is participating in Tackle Hunger and will be featured on KSDK News. We are competing against Mascoutah in a food drive benefitting Operation Food Search. We hope our Triad Nation can help us tackle hunger with donations. Please bring your donations to THS next week!

In honor of Banned Books Week, Mrs. Tschannen's College Prep English class went to the library and did a digital escape room with Mrs. Bernaix! Banned Books Week is an annual event highlighting the value of free and open access to information.
